Garden Merchandiser

SEASONAL JOB OPENING;
Large Midwest wholesale nursery is looking for outgoing, energic individuals to merchandise our line of trees, shrubs and perennials in big box garden center in your area. This position will assist our retail partners in maximizing their sales of plants by focusing on improving Garden Center merchandising, proper plant care and watering. Our merchandisers ensure maintenance of corporate display standards. Maintain positive communications with store management and corporate staff. Must be able to work independently in a customer service environment. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, work in elements outside, have access to internet and cell phone with camera and able to send pictures. You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Some weekend work maybe required. Horticulture or merchandising experience is helpful but not required just an attitude to work hard.
