Summary: The Graphic Designer will work with images, words and media. They will utilize advanced technology to create visual and multimedia presentations. This position requires interaction with other professionals, clients, customers and managers.
Responsibilities include:
Develop concepts for and design materials, including direct mailing pieces, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, vouchers, coupons, etc.
Using computer software to execute designs (indesign/adobe creative suite)
Present ideas to customers and adjust designs to fit their needs or taste
Work with others to complete the final product
Manage Web site updates while maintaining look and feel
Manage and maintain graphic files
Stay within budget
Qualifications:
Artistic ability and creativity are essential
You will need to have problem solving skills and love a good challenge
Technical skill - Experience with web site design and updates
Writing and editing skills
Be organized and detail-oriented
Communication skills - able to present ideas - both verbally and visually
Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
Assist with special events set up and breakdown as needed
Requirements:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience.
Some other requirements of this job are: Sitting, standing, climbing stairs, color determination, speaking, listening , motor coordination skills, handling of stress and some overtime may be required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
